Connect Nigeria

::blows dust off the site::

Hello there! It’s been nearly two months and I apologize for the silence.

Before we return to our next blog feature, I’d like you to take note of the following, an initiative organized by Loy Okezie, a fellow Nigerian and blogger, whose area of interest and expertise is (among other things) technology, social media and online marketing. There are many Nigerians who are working hard to link Nigerians within Nigeria and around the world together, and Nigerian Blog Awards is pleased to support this initiative.

I’m excited to introduce to you a new information search portal for Nigeria ( which offers a new way for millions of people to search and find local information about Nigeria.

Back in 2008, we introduced our business search for more than 5,000 local businesses to help people find what they are looking for.

Today, with over 25,000 businesses listed and 2000 celebrity profiles, we are gradually building Nigeria’s largest database of business and entertainment information and are extremely proud to be involved with such a laudable project.

Our information search portal redefines search. It offers a new way to find local businesses, celebs, jobs, events, classifieds and more in Nigeria. Thus, we provide users with the most relevant search results you can ever find on the Nigerian web space.

Over the next few months, we’ll be releasing some new and cool features that will let you find everything you need and connect you with people and businesses that you are looking for and that are looking for you.

We’re excited about the launch of, and would like to say it’s just the beginning of what’s to come from our efforts to make information in Nigeria more local.

You can join us in making Nigeria’s information easy to find, easy to use, by helping to spread the word on your blog, on Facebook and via Twitter.

You can also enter your email address in the form below, if you would like us to expose your blog’s content to our audience for free.

If you’d like your blog to be listed on the Connect Nigeria website, please leave your contact information and blog name below.
